Finding Grace: Happy New Year?

Happy New Year!

That's just what we say, right? We're supposed to be excited about ending one chapter in our lives and starting a new one. Its the out with the old, in with the new mentality! This night is exciting just because of what it stands for, newness! Change. New purpose. Direction. Right? Most all of the 'new years' I have experienced in the past I felt just this way. I, along with most people, used this once a year celebration as a stating point to achieve a goal or move on from a past burden. This is what new years is about, right?

This year though, was very, very bittersweet. How do you top the best year of your life? Can I freeze it and relive it over and over, please! Had someone told me last new years eve that this year would have been the year of my life, I ~~probably~~ (definitely) wouldn't have believed them!
